Do a search of my answers where I answered a similar question and got "best answer" on it, I believe. The probability of me having A best answer = 1

If it were a random process, it would be 1/n, where n is the number of answers given.

However, it is not a random process. It matters more how well you answer the questions (correctness, conciseness and spelling) and if you are answering to be helpful, not just to get two points.

If you've answered a lot of questions already, then your own percentage can be a guide.

It would depend on how many answers there are to the question. For your personal probability it would depend on how many questions you answer in a day X the number answer per question.

It all depends on how good your answers are. People can usually tell if you really took the time to give a good answer or if you were just trying to get 2 pts.

I can't give you a percentage...I'm not good at math! But that depends on who asks the question and how they relate to the person answering. Some answers touch your heart, while others tickle your funnybone. It's all luck, I think.

It could be fixed. Youu could have two Yahoo accounts and answer your own question, then vote it as the best answer. Take it for what it is worth. I love the few I have, because I know they are legit, but those who have thousands are pumping themselves for sure.
