We should all be ashamed of Cindy. She used her own son's death to promote a political cause that he never believed in.

Then after cashing in his life insurance and making money by exploiting him, she wouldn't buy him a grave stone. She even had a publicity photo taken of herself laying across the unmarked grave!

Don't tell me she is doing this because she is grieving for her lost son. She is too selfish to feel grief. She is despicable.

I would think so. He went into the military because he had a belief that the USA was doing the right thing. I think "Mommy Dearest" is ignoring the beliefs her son had. The rest of the family is with Casey in spirit. Thus, the divorce of Casey's parents some time ago.

Definitely. Cindy Sheehan is not only an embarrassment to her son, but to the whole country. As an ex-military service veteran, I am disgusted by that woman. The mere sight of her, or the sound of her shrieking voice makes me want to puke.

Casey became raised by his father and his step-mom. while he died in Iraq Cindy desperate to be the grieving mom. She has had her 15 minutes and needs to pass away now. She isn't lots of a mom. Her youthful son by her 2nd husband has desperate to have no longer something to do together with her and her husband divorced her through fact of her loopy events. They the two have suggested that Casey became proud to serve. have you ever learnt that Casey had re-enlisted after Iraq began and that he became happy together with his service there. that's merely too undesirable that Cindy does not comprehend her ineffective son adequate to help his perspectives.

That is a tough one. I do not think he would want his mother to make his death such a spectacle. I think Casey would want to be remembered as the man he was, not a victim of war. For Casey's sake, Cindy needs to stop this craziness. It will not bring Casey back.

casey was a man that was killed by the bush meat grinder. this he could not help as he was doing his duty in combat something g.w.bush and company would not do. and as it goes cindy is taking on this war for profit scam being ran by thats right g.w.bush. she is doing this with little or no help from the media. it takes a brave person to stand up to a person who by all rights should be in prison with this kind of illgoten power. so what i think is that a brave man that had the guts to do his duty in combat would be proud of his brave mom. god bless both casy and cindy.

It is impossible to know, however currently America has an all volunteer force, which means that those who are going into a combat situation know the risks. (Oh and are other soldiers who are putting their lives on the line embarrassed that she supports "freedom fighters" in Iraq, and her various other baseless accusations the answer would be yes.)

Many conservatives now are saying that "We did not lose the war in Vietnam in Vietnam, we lost the war in Washington." While not entirely accurate, the point remains that Americans should support the efforts of the American military to bring freedom to a previously oppressed and now largely grateful nation.

He voluntarily joined the military and went to Iraq in good conscious.. If he did not believed what he was doing he probably would had declared himself a Conscientious Objector... He did not.
He would not be ashamed, we love our parents no matter what. He probably would not support her stand or views..

He probably knew how his mom felt about the war while he was alive. I imagine him standing at attention, rolling his eyes at all the trouble she's causing. He volunteered, he did his job, he did it well and paid the ultimate price for freedom. The freedom of his mom to disagree and protest.

Who could guess what he might feel? What would it take for you to be ashamed of your mom in the face of such horrible grief? I don't agree with her at all, but I am sad for her. I can not imagine losing one of my children.
