verizon wireless's network seems to be the best, consistently, across the country.
however, there are certain areas where other providers have superior coverage.
so it's going to depend on where you live.

I've had Tmobile and Sprint
Tmobile by far has the best customer service. Sprint's customer service is just awful.
Tmobile's strenght is in local metropolitan areas, if u drive outside these areas, ure gonna get stranded.
Sprint has a better coverage, but oh man, I'm getting so many dropped calls. Very surprised. As others have suggested, check with friends.

I would definately never get another cell phone through sprint. their customer service sucks and you never seem to be able to resolve any problems with just one simple phone call. With verizon wireless my service was always great but their plans are quite pricy compared to some of the other providers, but it is well worth it in my opinion. If you decide no to go with verizon, you might also check into nextel, they have merged with sprint but their customer service is much better.

I haven't had this experience, but every one that I talk to says that T-mobile is the best. I have witnessed it by seeing that their text messages come super fast, they have good plans, and on some phones, or all, you can even send and recieve text messages while you are on the phone talking to someone.
