Okay obviously not all, but in my experience, most.

Okay, so to clarify...
I've personally experienced this on more than one occasion, with guys that were definately gay (seeing as it was a gay bar and I've met boyfriends, etc.) So I'm going to have to lean toward the friction theory on this one. It makes sense. Thanks.

It's a stimulation thing, but who knows WHO they were thinking about while dancing with a woman. And I know some male friends that get turned on just by skin to skin contact. Mood, sexual environment and alcohol plat factors as well.

There's a lot going on here. Either you were lied to, there was some OTHER stimulus involved (he saw a really cute guy over your shoulder or something), or ::tells a secret:: they're just spontaneous erections. That happens a lot. And I can see it as potentially more likely to happen with the movement involved in dancing. If this has happened often, I'd go with either the first or second option; if you've just met a "gay" guy, don't put too much stock in that.

I've never heard such a stupid question. And I am sure you have not seen much if any "erections" from gay guys rubbing on women on a dance floor in a club.

Thats lame .. why don't you go to the hetero section of the class and bug them!

I've never gotte hard from dancing on a girl. I agree with the friction answer, though. Alchohol of course helps, too.

Maybe some gay men have this reaction - but do not think all of us do. Seems to me like this is just another example of a silly generalization.

Not all gay men get erections when dancing with women! I know I do not!

Men have a much quicker trigger than women when it comes to arousal. If you rub it, you'll get an erection. I assume you're talking about slow dancing, right?
