Everywhere i go i see women with kids sitting on their shoulders...my girlfriend loves to carry this kid she watches on her shoulders...why?

im not a woman but i watch a kid and everytime we go out he sits on my shoulders the whole time. i don't allow him to get down most of the time in fear of losing him.

I carried my daughter on my shoulders because:
1. It gave my arms a rest
2. I allowed my hands to be free
3. I knew where she was in a crowd (like a parade)

i dont have kids but i babysit my lil cousins and i carry them on my shoulders so they can feel taller and can see everything..plus they love it cuz im super tall and they feel like they're on top of the world...hope that helps!!!
