I'm an addict, but I think it's the people who work there, who bring me back for that vanilla latte, more than anything else. They are very nice here, remember my name, my drink, what I like to eat, and other small things. It's phenomenal. They always greet me with a smile , or even with a yeah my days been hectic, too. Then every so often, Starbucks adds to my card. So, yes I'm an addict. And, I like to read there.

Their coffee just doesn't taste as good as Dunkin Donuts. And, the staff are always so snobby and look down one me. Then, if you don't understand their million different coffee concoctions, they make you feel sooooo stupid. I was at the Starbucks across the street from the ABC studios in NYC around Christmastime, and the staff there was soooo rude, but I was cold and wanted some hot chocolate. But since then, I refuse to go to Starbucks. I can go to Dunkin Donuts and the people are sooo nice. They are mostly from India. They nicknamed me Sri Devi, after some actress in their country, and I have learned a few Hindi greetings. So, you can't beat the star treatment, learning a new language, making friends, oh and the great coffee.

It used to really irk me when they made me order in Starbuck's language, and got all snotty when I tried to order in English. I would prefer to patronize local, non chain coffee shops anyway, but there are just way too many Starbucks cafes. Now I'm living in a place so remote, there is no Starbucks here! Hooray.

I do like Starbucks. I enjoy their Caramel Frappuccino, and when I want something hot, I get a Mocha Breve.

I lived in seattle my whole life and can't stand it i dont even like coffe in general. They buy up all of the burnt beans that none of the other companies didn't want and charge a 300% mark up on it and all the hippies in seattle thought wow this is good and then all of the other people started catching on and i still hate it.

I dislike it. Their drinks are mediocre (at best) and those who drink them believe that they are slightly superior. They overroast their coffee so you can not taste the subtle flavor from the different regions that their coffees come from. Moreover, they use their mega-corporate status to set up shop next to small indipendant shops that will handcraft their drinks (litterally hand roast and more) and drive them out of business. It is the McDonalds of coffee.
