I, personally, don't believe in magic, the devil, ghosts, etc. and more than I believe that UFO's use the earth as the grand central station of our galaxy. One is the equivalent of the other.
What I do believe is that for some reason there is a predisposition for people to believe in such things. What has caused this, I don't know. Perhaps when the race was evolving there was some survival factor in clinging together in fear of the unknown. This would have created a genetic selection for such a trait.
Notice I didn't list evil in my disbelief's. Evil exists, but then so does good. Unfortunately, evil has a greater effect than does good. Compare the results of Hitler to Mother Theresa. While Hitler could kill millions of people in a few years, Mother Theresa could only help a relative handful.

There are phenomena within and around our Earth that defies scientific explanation; things God never intends for Man to find out. Defiantely, we move on and search for answers....and I feel soon, some amazing discoveries are just around the corner.
Question is: are we ready to accept what happens afterwards?
