I've read some of the links people give regarding gyn exams and many of them include a rectal exam. Unless your older what purpose would it server.

Personally, I've never had one and I've had 5 paps already.

Like you - I've been having yearly paps for 10 years and have never had one.

Yes, I've heard It's become a part of regular gyn exams. I've never had one, but I think it just lets the doctor know more about the position of the uterus.

its normally only for older women. when my mom goes, the Dr. does one. When I go, they dont.
