Watch it!! It's worth it...but to answer your question, I'll put the spoiler at the bottom. The scariest movies I've ever seen are The Sixth Sense, The Ring (that movie freaked me up), and Seven(it's more of a thriller than a horror flick but it scared the pant out of me). And The Exorcist is so disturbing, there's still no movie like it in this day and age, it's a primal fear and it still shocks and scares...

OK SPOILER: Jack Nicholson freezes to death while trying to chase his son through the grassy labyrinth, which by this time of the movie is ice filled. Shelley Duvall and the kid escape in the snow mobile, that the cook brought (he was unfortunately killed by Jack Nicholson). And finally you start seeing a close-up of old pictures at the Overlook Hotel, and there's one of a New Years party in the 1920's, as it zooms in closer, and closer, you see Jack Nicholson inside the picture, with the happiest face and dressed to the nines...

I saw the both movies and i read the book. First the book is better and in the book the hotel explodes after the Danny and his mom escape. I the movie the dad freezes to death outside the maze. The movie with Jack is so much better.

It is a great movie and you should wait and see the ending to be suprised. The scariest movie I've ever seen is probably "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre", the new and the old one. And the "Hills Have Eyes", the new one is really scary.

Which version? The good one or the sucky one? In the sucky one, Jack is blown up in the hotel when he forgets to dump the boiler. In the good one, Doc outsmarts Jack and leaves him to freeze to death in the maze.

saw the movie many times; read the book too. Danny and his Mom escape and the father freezes to death in the garden maze.

Movies don't scare me.

I as quickly as had an older Honda (2004 i think of) that had a bad windshield glare issue in specific image voltaic situations and everybody suggested i grew to become into nuts. yet at some cases it grew to become into downright risky to stress.
