Mmm, no. Don't trust him. This is my suggestion. Prepare yourself.
Throw yourself at the ground, and at the last moment miss. Get distracted by something (i.e. a pretty, shiny green bug or a particularly nice set of legs). It should work, trust me. You'll be hovering. Just set about nicely. If someone shouts "That's impossible!" don't listen to them. Don't believe it or they will be right.
