this game i played around 1988. Not a pc game coz i played it on the arcade. the chararacter you contol unloads from a helicopter. u have various ammos and guns picked up in the game, grenades, tanks, etc... the view is from the top

Oh yeah. That was a great game. Commando comes to mind but I'm not sure. I know exactly the game you are referring to.

It sounds to me like ikari warrior. One of the best game back in the day.

The game you're describing sounds a lot like Contra. That game series is awesome!!! It's one of my faves!!
