IT IS A PLACE WHERE THERE IS A WATERFALL AND A STREAM WHERE I CAN LAY ON MY STOMACH AND PUT MY HAND IN THE WATER. I FIND THAT THE SOUND OF A WATERFALL AND WATER FLOWING OVER MY HAND IS VERY RELAXING. I HAVE ALWAYS LOVED THE WATER AND IF I COULD I WOULD BUILD A HOUSE NEXT TO A STREAM THAT HAD A WATERFALL SO THAT WHEN I WAS READY TO GO TO SLEEP I COULD RELAX TO THE SOUND OF THE WATER.

My favorite place, sad to say, is no longer. It was truly an unforgetable bar called "Rendevous". Rendevous wasn't a seedy dive, nor was it a classy joint. It was well in between; a comfy small neighborhood bar, with the clientele really walking in from ALL backgrounds.

From the rough-neck construction worker to the Armani suited banker: they and many others in the mix came to Rendevous--and they all got along. Rendevous' owner claimed in his 30 years of ownership, never once did a drunken fight ever break out in or outside his bar.

Rendevous was where I found love at first sight DOES happen...and I have other fond memories of the place. But alas: the owner died and so did Rendevous. Closed down for years, it recently re-opened.....as a bright yellow painted computer shop.

My favorite place is Glacier National Park in Montana. My husband and I just got back and it is breathtaking. The mountains are gorgeous, there are waterfalls coming down everywhere, there is a beautiful tunnel to drive through, and snow when we were there, plus getting to the top of Logan's Pass is no small feat. I have been to a lot of western states and national parks, but this one is breathtaking and well worth the effort to get there, especially the east side.

There is a stretch of Alternate US Highway 89 south and west of Flagstaff, AZ that is some of the most beautiful, serene mountain scenery I've ever seen.

Any place my children are...they are the only thing that keeps me going some days... without them I would be devastated. Not to say they have to be with me 24/7... but being close to them and being able to hold them and tell them I love them is about the closest thing to Heaven on Earth I can think of!

I have to agree with "El Chango". New York is the best place in the world for me. People arent as full of s-h-i-t there, and the feeling the city brings me is incredible.
