They are both terrorists. One is a terrorist organization killing others due to their religious beliefs. The other is a terrorist government/country killing others due to their religious beliefs. It's not just Hezbollah, for a long time now Israel has killed, murdered many Muslims, too many to count.

Israel warned both Hezbollah and the civilians to leave before they took action. The terrorists hid behind women and children while firing rockets into Isreal. They care not about the people of Israel They refused ton give up their goal as the total destruction of Israe and live in peace beside it. Israel . will not be destroyed by anyone or anything. These cowards hide among civilians because they are afraid to fight their foe on equal terms.

Hezbollah infiltrated a sovern State..... they murdered 8 soldiers, kidnapped 2 others. Isreal on the other hand recently has complied with world opinion and gave back land for peace..... Hezbollah didnt want peace it wanted to create instability in the region. Isreal, not innocent by any means at least was trying the road to peace with giving back land.
So weigh it out...... Hezbollah infiltrates a sovern state. kills eight soldiers and kidnaps 2 others. Then start fireing hundreds rockets indiscriminatley into Isreal, hiding in and among civialians so they can use the civialian carnage in publisity. I think that could be called terrorism.
Isreal, targeting hezbollah responds. I would not call them terrosist, I would call them survival instincts.

I agree with you it's a tragedy and I believe Israel needs to be more careful.
I think one difference is that Israel doesn't intentionally target civilians and Hezbollah only targets civilians. That's Hezbollah's stated strategy.
Also, probably about half those Lebanese civilians you're claiming were really Hezbollah fighters.
Unfortunately, Lebanon is sheltering Hezbollah so they have some responsibility. Also, Hezbollah is intentionally using Lebanese civilians as shields.
So, I ask you. You're an Israeli and Hezbollah is shooting rockets from Lebanon at your cities. What would you do?

Hezbollah is truly a terrorist group and many nations have acknowledged that! Why blame the dead innocent Leabanese on the Israelis??!!! Hezbollah is responsible for killing their own people! Hezbollah is the death of the Lebanese! Stop blaming Israel and other countries when it is the goverment of the country (Lebanon) that started this war!!! Israel warned and doesn't kill innocents on purpose....the terrorists kill innocents on purpose!!! So you can call your collateral damage on your Hezbollah...why don't you send them the bill!!!!!!

because Hezbullah started it by kidnapping Israel's soldiers. Hezbollah people are hiding themselves in civilian crowd, obviously, Israel will be attacking those areas. But still Israel after 3 days, asked all the civilians to get out of a particular area as they are giving to sttrike it the next day and they also issued a notice that anybody who still remains there would be considered as Hezbollah supporter. Only brave ones come in open to fight and the cowards always strike by hiding themselves or strike from from the back.

Hezbollah kills civilians just because they can. They try to instill fear into the Israeli people.
Israel is trying to destroy the terrorist organization which hides amongst the civilians of the country which it infects like a parasite

Last time I checked they were not wearing uniforms. Just like in Iraq and anywhere else. Maybe the reporters are stupid; and have never heard of propaganda. Or maybe they also have an agenda. And maybe they are so busy hating Bush they can't see that they are being manipulated for the cause.
The media is not always right.

How many of those civilians are Hezbollzah??? They are shooting their rockets from homes, preventing civilians from leaving so they have a shield.. do you not keep up with the news? They even used the UN station as a shield and got 4 UN members killed.Reality is sometimes difficult to see, for some.

Because Israel is defending its self.
None of the Muslim country's that surround Israel recognize Israel as a country. Furthermore Hezbollah,Hammas, Iran, Iraq, Syria, have all said that they will destroy Israel. The leader of Lebanon has done nothing to stop the terrorists in its own country.
