New Jersey drivers are wild animals on the road. They swerve in and out of traffic without using their turn signals, they regard the speed limit as merely "negotiable", they do something incredibly stupid and then flip off OTHER drivers as if the other party is at fault, and they never run out of new ways to hold up traffic.

See that retard cutting over three lanes without even signaling his intentions? See that car that caused major backup on I-95? See that asshole that just flipped you the bird? What is the common denominator? Look at the license plates. I'm sure you will find the following:

New Jersey
RE*TARD
Garbage State

It's hard to believe that drivers from NJ suck so much dick compared to drivers from MD, DE, and even PA. Whoever is in charge of distributing licenses in New Jersey should have been given the heave-ho a long *** time ago!

Did you just leave California?
just kiddin.

You haven't seen bad driving. Just sit in a taxi for an hour in Taipei, Taiwan, or Shanghai, China, or Seoul, Korea. The drivers in those countries are amazing.

Rules? what rules?
Stop lights are just advisory, and mostly for timid drivers.
14 cars abreast where 8 lanes are striped.
Need to make a U-turn in busy city traffic? Ok, just keep nosing into traffic and make a turn when the other driver 'blinks.'
Traffic in Taiwan flows like molecules of water - whenever there is a space in traffic, a car moves in immediately to take it.
He who hesitates won't get anywhere.
Oh, and don't forget the motorcycles, scooters and mopeds. At a stoplight, they all move to the front of the traffic at the crosswalk (at least 4 cycles in front of every car and 2 between cars). When the light changes to green, off they go in a gigantic cloud of choking blue smoke. Then the cars follow.
It's truly a memorable sight.

My former boss called it sub-micron driving because cars there would crowd you into your lane leaving about 1" of space. I will never forget that phrase.

It gives a whole 'nother perspective on bad driving. Makes the US of A drivers look courteous and careful in every state I've visited.

NJ sounds like a nice place to drive, compared to some other places.

Cheers.

No, not at all. Minnesota has the distinction of worst drivers. They take an entire summer to learn the snow melt is over and when the snow and ice return, it takes them the entire winter to learn to drive on slick roads. That's just a joke so don't worry about it, but there's always some truth to a joke. It's not necessary to talk foul about anyone.

Honestly, you should try driving in the Seattle area, especially on the Eastside. You get to deal with either a$sholes or asians who don't know what the hell they're doing. I agree with the passing out of driver's license part - honestly, WHY IS THE DRIVER'S LICENSE TEST WRITTEN IN SEVERAL DIFFERENT LANGUAGES OTHER THAN ENGLISH!?!?!
