6ft X 6ft X 6ft = 216ft^3 (feet cubed or cubic feet)
6ft X 6ft X 1ft = 36ft^3

Air at sea level atmospheric pressure, assuming same pressure in the balloon as out, (about 14.73psia) weighs 0.0764#/ft^3 (pounds per cubic foot). If air didn't weigh anything, there would be no atmospheric pressure! It's more proper to refer to this property as mass, especially since this weight won't register on a scale unless the scale is in a vacuum.

216ft^3 of air weights 16.5# at standard conditions (temperature and pressure).
36ft^3 of air weights 2.75# at standard conditions.

Once again, this assumes you are ignoring the neutral buoyancy of air in air. Since the air outside the balloon weighs the same as the air in the balloon (per cubic ft), The air will neither rise nor sink (will weigh nothing on a scale). Of course the plastic in the balloon will have weight.
