Airplanes slamming into NY Buildings, the Pentagon, that''s missinformation.
Iranians taking over the US Embassy and holding Americans hostage for 6 months, that's missinformation!
Watching Arabs dancing in the street after they learned about 9/11, that's misinformation!
You're saying Hamas and Heubollah didn't invade or kidnap anyone! You are going on record of that! I mean, Hamas and Hubollah have admitted they did it! Or is that a lie of the Media?
Let's see. The Media shows Americans torchering Iraqi's in prison. That't the Truth, right. The media didn't lie there, right!
The Media shows that ATT and others are supplying telelphone information to the government, that's a lie too (well it may end up not being as truthful as it orignally was).
The news people killed or wounded. That's a lie. They weren't there!

Because most Americans are too lazy to go research on their own and find other venues to discover the true Islam and see what the religion is really about.
And they don't bother to verify the information the media puts out, or consider the millions of Muslims that are NOT "terrorists."

For the same reason people in the Mideast form their opinions of Americans and Israeli's by relying on Al ja har (not sure how to spell that.) For some reason, people trust their media to tell them the truth. Truly intelligent people however, will look at all sources information including their own life experiences and then formulate opinions accordingly.

I rely on lots of sources information to form my opinions of Muslims including that stuff that those evil Muslims post on the Internet of them killing people by chopping off the heads of truck drivers and soldiers and teachers. Don't forget the wonderful videos of the women being stoned for showing to much of their faces to a stranger. oh and don't forget all the Muslims dancing in the street after 911, oh and don't forget Somalia, suicide bombers in (insert country name here), oh and don't forget burning the American flag, and don't forget. Before you just dismiss this as American patriotic drivel this is stuff from MUSLIM media sources. So my opinion is that the Muslim religion is basically based on redirecting hate onto someone outside of the religion to keep all the uneducated suicide bombers to be focused on hating something other than the leaders that are guiding them.

Probably because the common thought Americans share about Muslims was embedded on 9/11/01. You get attacked by a certain group, saying they're doing it on behalf of their religion, then yes, you will feel anger towards that faction.

I think you are misinformed about most Americans. Most of us do not stereotype or follow the media blindly, although I will grant you that there are many who do.

Because people believe this Israeli / Lebanon thing is about a couple kidnapped soldiers ..... when Israel has been preparing their invasion for a couple months!
