By "gay bashing" I mean SAYING things against homosexuality, not physical violence.
No one with a brain should have to ask why any kind of physical confrontation against ANYONE is wrong.

Since when is Gay Bashing a crime - unless you are talking about the actual acting of beating up a Gay person - and then that is a crime for everyone.

All kinds of bashing is wrong. People should not be singled out and bashed for their sexual orientation just like people shouldn't be criticized and bashed for their personal spiritual or religious beliefs. All bashing does is show ignorance and intolerance of people and their differences.

I don't think BASHING anybody is okay.
However, I feel it is okay to criticize the homosexual lifestyle or theories about homosexuality WITHOUT attacking people identifying as homosexual.
I also feel it is okay to criticize Christianity and its tenets without attacking specific Christians or subjecting the same individuals to a type of stereotype or discrimination.

No one should "bash" anyone whether it's "okay" or "wrong". People need to start understanding that we are all the same no matter what.

onsidering that Law Enforcement is the biggest Gay basher, I think many Cristians are taught they need a persecution complex. Seeking insults so they can be like Jesus says "blessed is he who is persecuted in my name." What he does not say is that you can whine about it like the Pharasee o the street corner.
