Famous actors, religious leaders, musicians, business and economic leaders, any other catagory you know of. They would be people who never had anything to do with masonry, never attended a meeting at a lodge. Some who were honary members
were, B.Hope, J.Wayne, Houdini, R.Rogers, G.Autry and many others. Any ideas on who else were honorary members?

Most Presidents of the USA, Attorneys General, and others.

They get invited to the third day event of the three day procedure that makes a person a Shriner.

The first day the initiate pays his thousands of dollars to the LADY at the front desk, gets his locker key, regalia issued, and information sheets.

The second day is the almost secret initiations c/w playlet, rituals, and sermon.

THE THIRD DAY they all meet for a grand dinner and speeches.
This is the event the Honorable Guests are invited to.

They are fed, watered , and given a document making them a Mason.

THEY DO NOT HAVE A CLUE AS TO WHAT IT IS ALL ABOUT but they do know that many famous people are in the gang so it must be good to belong to the gang too.

Yep, Albert Pike (He's VERY famous around here in N.W. Arkansas).

I don't know for sure, but I SERIOUSLY DOUBT an "honorary" member would make it to the HIGHEST LEVEL.
