Every time the page loads it loads random symbols in all the positions but 0, 9 and all multiples of 9. Thats the symbol that is going to come out in the sphere as thats all the combinations that work. If you think about it is easy to understand why is it.

Too Simple! Whatever answer you calculate its going to be either 0,9. The symbol of these numbers are same and thats what is displayed there. Irrespective of the two digit number you choose, the final single digit is going to be either 0 or 9!

the result of the formula is always the same number:
50-5=45
51-6=45 etc for all numbers you pick, a nice trick!
10=9,20=18, 30=27, 40=36, 50=45, etc!
