I love her dearly. Her best friend (20+ years) is divorced. Her friend has been celibate since the divorce. She and my wife were talking, she told my wife she thought I was attractive. One thing led to another and now my wife wants me to hook up w/ her friend. Her friend is all for it. I find her friend attractive and she has a great personality. I feel very flattered however, at the same time I feel very nervous and awkward. Like I said I love my wife and would do anything to make her happy. I just don't know what to do!
Should I?
Thanks

You should never do anything that makes you feel uncomfortable. Go with your instincts and tell your wife how you feel about the situation. I am surrounded by friends that are swingers and have been in the lifestyle for many years but in your situation, it can cause more harm than good. Good luck to ya!

Here's the problem, assuming your past child bearing years the consequences are minimal.

But you do your ego trip and now old friend finds new guy, serious relationship going on. They come to your house -- the serious awkward sets in because you done be feeling like your making this guy a fool, if she honest with him well probably no more old friend for your wife.

I'm not into making good men fools.

Just a bit of experience on my part, plus it came back to haunt me in a divorce (you see I had the affair). You get the points.

If you love your wife, you wouldn't be thinking of such a disrespectful action with your wife best friend. I don't care what your wife is telling you. Your wife should think about that. This could seriously get out of hand. I am not blaming you because your wife and her friend should have better respect not to even have conversations in a lustful way about you.

I agree that it's possibly a trap! Don't let the ol' ego get between you and what you know you should do. This could only go wrong anyway. They could become jealous, they could become lovers, you could be accused of favoritism. If we can, let's forget about the fact that morally it's wrong. You can see all the aforementioned problems arising. If she was bound and determined to have a threesome, it's better if it's someone neither of you knows that well. Aside, of course, from the danger's of STD's. My advice is to laugh it off, and ask your wife how she could ever think you'd be excited by another woman!

Been there, done that if you love you wife and want to stay married I suggest you have one of your single friends give her some. you should keep yours where it has been for the last how ever long. Just for the record mine ended in divorce and my ex and friend are now expecting their second child.

I would think it means she would like to share you. Does she want to be there also?
As far as love and respect, it depends on the both of you.
If your initial discussion reveals that you both are interested in doing this, you MUST develop a set of rules in order to be successful. Rules allow each of you to understand each other's comfort levels, interests and "sore spots", and without a good set of rules, you or she will almost definitely suffer jealousy, and anger, and being uncomfortable. Talk to her and see just where this will lead.

It's a very big step in fantasizing and then making it become a reality.
The fantasies can be just as good!!!

If you do you will more than likely destroy not only their friendship but your marriage as well. Is it worth taking that chance just to make your wife's friend happy? I doubt it seriously.

It could be a set up. To see how faithful you really are. What good can possibly come out of this? Don't open this door.
