I was asked tonight what my inspiration was for piercing my nose. I explained I have the right to do it if I want (no longer any outside forces to suppress me-and I'm related to my aunt who never let anyone tell her what she could do or not do-just a side note) and I have wanted to do it for a long time. Am I bad?

Hey piercing is pretty cool. I have a pierced nose. I am indian. In here its a tradition, every well behaved girl has to pierce her nose. she s bad if she does nt as she is not following her culture. I didnt mind doing it cos i think it looks pretty cool. i wear huge rings and lops and occasionally diamonds. If u like it jus do it. but make sure u change the nose stud or ring according to the occasion so that u dont look like a rebel.

No. If you wanted to do it for a long time, Good for you!
I hope you did it professionally and with the correct jewlery.
Take care of it correctly.
Here's some good aftercare....
Wet a paper towel or a q-tip with water. Put a little
soap on the paper towel or q-tip and gently circle the piercing. Rinse well with water. Do not clean the inside of the nostril.
Be careful not to get any of the cotton fibres of the q-tip inside the piercing.

Take care of it and Good luck!♥

.......And the person who said that the bible is against piercing is incorrect. There are no passages that specifically say that you should not pierce your skin and put jewlery in for decorational purposes. ( I dont even know if your a Christian, but I'll correct him anyway). In the old testamemt it does talk about many of the laws of the old doctrine, Christians no longer follow the old doctrine. The same Christians that tell you you cant get a tattoo, or a piercing are the same one's wearing polyester(a cloth woven of 2 materials) and eating shellfish. ( these also were no no's in the old testament)

In the old testament, Rebecca has a nose piercing. It was a commonly pierced part of the body, just like ears are today. Its just seen as 'taboo' so many Christians will say that the Bible is against it.

ur not bad. piercing ur nose just for that reason might not have been the smartest thing. for one it's kind of bad for ur nose. i would just take it wout and let it close up. honestly ur not bad u just have to think things through. i mean did u even want to get ur nose pierced? or did u get it just because no one was there to stop u?

NO!, lol, if you like it, and you feel good about it, it isnt bad, its a way to express yourself!, pierce your whole body if you want and if you got the $$ as long as you are YOU and its your way to symbolize yourself or express yourself. In many cultures, they do intensive piercings, all over their body, theres nothing wrong with it, so feel free. FREEEDOM 4ever!

No, if u did it to show ur authority then ur bad. But if u really wanted to it's not. Except i wouldn't go to a job-interview with a piercing of that sort.

No....but no decent man will take you seriously anymore because of what you did. In other words, you pretty much traded your access to all of the high quality men in society so that you could be "different".

Your nose, your piercing, your life, your choice. Go back and tell that person to stuff themselves.

It can look awkward from a distance but it doesn't really look good up close either. You probably should not have done that if it was just in rebellion.
