You would have to have a pretty shallow, self centred existence to only acknowledge 3 of them

I lost my Mom and 2 of her sisters within one year. Death in threes also happens in neighborhoods.

after many years of working in nursing homes death always came in threes and in my own family lost mother cousin and brother-in-law to cancer in 3 months so yes i beleive death comes in threes

as weird as it is that is the way I have seen it. When 2 die I am usually wondering who is next and then I hear of someone we somehow know or someone we know knows them. So yeah I believe it happens in 3's.
