Corvette, best bang for the buck on the road.
Can't touch it without spending another 25–50K

ten years ago - that would have to be something Italian - I mean how could you beat a Lamborghini, Maserati, Ferrari or alpha romeo. Just nice. but today there are so many to choose from - have you seen the new Bentley sports sedan. wow.

Now for something that may be someday actually affordable that is another story. I really dig the Acura NSX - it looks like a little ferrari - but only costs about 70k new. super hot.

I also love American muscle - too bad most of the greats are all from the 60's and 70's all makes in certain models.

Corvettes will always be a favorite.

I gotta go with a Ford. They build the best Power cars. Italy and Japan do good with handling and little light cars. But gimme a big Ford with Muscle and some Handling to back that up. I gotta go with the S-7 Twin Turbo. That car is the $#!^.

Saleen knows all about power. As in S281 Mustangs, N2O Focuses and the S7, America’s first (and still the only) mid-engine exotic supercar. When it went on sale in 2002, the S7 was the only street-legal car in the U.S. with more than 500 horsepower and 500 lb-ft of torque. The media and S7 owners have raved about the car since it first smoked the rear tires in anger. And it has been recognized by numerous automotive magazines as the fastest production car in the world.

Saleen is not an organization content to rest on yesterday’s 0-60 mph times or quarter-mile speeds. So in 2005, it was “goodbye S7” and “all hail the S7 Twin Turbo!” This is the first major change to the S7 since its introduction, and it is a big change as in 750 horsepower and 700 lb-ft of torque, numbers the competition will be chasing for a long while we predict.

The S7 chassis and suspension incorporate decades of Saleen’s experience in racing, racecar construction and high-performance road car manufacturing. The Saleen S7 architecture begins with a space frame chassis to which honeycomb composite reinforcing is grafted. The body is structural, aerospace-quality, autoclave carbon fiber. Suspension is via fully independent unequal-length double wishbones with coilover springs, lightweight aluminum dampers (shock absorbers) and stabilizer (anti-roll) bars front and rear. The uprights at each corner are CNC machined billet aluminum, flow-through designs that use air to help cool the bearings.

Chassis tuning also includes revised shock valving front and rear. Saleen-engineered Brembo-supplied lightweight aluminum six-piston mono-block calipers are fitted front and rear.

Good Choices tho. I liked a great deal of the cars you mentioned.

How about 1966 GTO convertible with a 389/w 6pack and side pipes? A true American muscle

Or a Super Bird?

Mercedes SLR McLaren.
Mercedes is the first car brand I ever know and that's why I love it.But sometimes,I really can't figure out if the S-class is better or the SLR.I hate BMW,Toyota and Nissan.

I like the Ferrari Enzo. Someday, my hubby will buy me one.
Until then, I'll drive a Toyota MR2 Spyder(its cute;only for girls) or a Chevy Corvette(NIIIIIIICE).

I can go on about cars for hours also. :)
