There is probably more than one George Washington. One George Washington (deceased) that comes to mind is the one with wooden false teeth who was the first President of the United States. He also was in the Revolutionary war, and there is supposedly a story about him chopping down a cherry tree, then telling the truth about having done it. (the cherry tree stuff could be fiction)...because I don't know many politicians that would not go into CYA mode, and lie their azzes off when they are confronted with their actions... but I think the cherry tree incident supposedly happened when George Washington was young?
