It's hard to be serious when the duds in DC play politics with even the most serious issues such as immigration.

The demos want "comprehensive" which equates to lots of rhetoric and little action. The repubs want stronger enforcement, which so far equates to lots of rhetoric and little action.

The House passed an enforcement only bill, but the Senate passed a "comprehensive" bill. And they cannot agree.

The House passed an excellent enforcement only bill, the end of last year. Only 15 people voted against it. We've been fighting the Senate all year because they're the ones who want to give amnesty to 12,000,000 illegal aliens and to bring in 60,000,000 more guest workers over the next 20 years. They got it passed but the house said they would not compromise on their enforcement only bill and found some old laws to block the Senate's bill from being legally passed. this required the Senate bill to be taken out to the different states for public debate/testimony. In the mean time, just a few days ago, some rogue Representatives decided to come up with a compromise bill even though one was not called for. At this time we are in the middle of a major conflict trying to stop both bills. Find out all about it and join us in our fight by logging onto www.NumbersUSA.com

They never had any plan to pass an immigration bill. The Senate and the House WANT illegal immigrants here. They only pretended to vote on that bill, to keep voters happy. They knew they would not pass it, as they planned to vote opposit each other. We will never stop illegal immigration.
