DON'T lay on your stomach during pregnancy....or your back as the enlarged uterus puts pressure on the baby. The best way for you to lay right now through the end of the pregnancy is on your side.

properly the 1st one is finished fiction- Brains sucked out? Are you extreme? what type of a zombie action picture do you think of that's? It does subject me that the government waterboarded the comparable guy 183 cases. If it did no longer artwork to your delight the 1st 182 cases, why no longer exchange procedures? That makes us look the two sadistic AND stupid. If 3 hundred to 3000 lives may well be stored via you eye-catching in a sexual act with a minor, could you do it? Or do you think of which would be incorrect, no count if the component effects have been constructive or no longer? Doing some thing evil on the off-risk that some good will come of it, continues to be evil. don't be a fool.

I slept on my stomach as long as I could, but even I gave up at 4 months. The little 'bump' just got to be too hard to sleep on.

The absolute best position to sleep in while pregnant is on your left side, it takes the weight of your burgeoning uterus off your Vena Cava, increasing blood flow and nutrients to baby. Prop a pillow between your legs and a pillow behing your back for support, as well as under your head. That's about as comfy as it gets. Any position that is actually hurting the baby should be far too ucomfortable for you to be in, so pay attention to your body.

You can't 'smash' baby, he's protected by lots of fluid, but the reccommendation is nevertheless to stop stomach sleeping at 5 months. Back sleeping is not recommended either. If you put yourself in a good position and wake up on your back or stomach, just roll over.

I did lie on my stomach through my whole pregnancy. I just piled a bunch of pillows underneath me. I don't think you are in the position long enough to harm the baby, as I am sure you already know you move every 2 seconds. I am a massage therapist and I use a body cushion on all of my prenatal clients. As long as the belly is supported properly and the mom is comfy with no shortness of breath, etc. it is fine. Just ask you OB to be on the safe side. Good Luck!

By the time the baby is sticking out enough that lying on it will be a problem, it will be SO uncomfortable to try and lie on it that you won't.

The pre-natal books do advise trying to sleep on your side versus on your back. The baby gets better blood flow if you are on your side.

Really though, if you can find a comfortable position--go for it!

Yes it is, you will be pushing on the baby all that pressure against your belly and the baby laying on your stomach can cause premature labor and harm to your baby.

I highly suggest that you talk to your OB doctor and get educated about pregnancy and the stages of pregnancy and the DOs and DONTs while be pregnant.

Being 40 weeks pregnant myself i cant imagine even being able to lie on my belly, Im no doctor but i would imagine it would not be very good for the little one in there. Your side is best because on your back there is not enough circulation for the baby.
