Try Coffee Talk which is located at the corner of 12th Avenue & WaiAlae Avenue in Kaimuki, Honolulu. They've got a pretty good selection of coffee drinks and pastries. Its a well known place amongst coffee house goers and very laid back. Plus, they've got free WiFi.
Driving Directions: coming from town, heading toward Diamond Head side, take H1 and exit Kokohead. Take a left and head towards WaiAlae Avenue. Just before you reach WaiAlae Avenue turn left into the shopping area and you'll find metered parking. 12th Avenue is one block down (West, or Ewa Side) from Kokohead.
Its a popular place, so if you get lost in Kaimuki just stop and ask someone.

While you're in the neighborhood, you should try BC Burrito (next to Coffee Talk). They've got some meeaaaan grinds there.

Aloha and hope this helps.
