I can remember dancing to Michael Jacksons beat it song with a bunch of kids on the playground. I loved it when swatch watches were big. Those slouch socks reminded me of Dancers because of that movie Fame. Break dancing was big. Disco music was the bomb and my best friends Fav song was pour some sugar on me.

I loved Poison and Bon Jovi.
I remember we used to drive around town on Friday & Saturday nights for no reason. Who could afford that today?
We would hang out in the Mall. Every teenager in town would be though there at some point every Saturday.
There was the Don Johnson inspired pastel shirt and no socks look. We should all seek out any pictures taken back then and burn them.
How about having a sumer job that could earn you enough money for just about anything?
The ultimate 80's statement was a crappy car. Wasn't it great when you were just happy it worked. I don't think any of us had new cars but it got you from point a to point b.

Well I was born in the mid eighties, but I remember some stuff from it. I would have to say my favourite band then was Midnight Oil. From t.v. there used to be a satirical show called Spiting Image, it took the mickey out of British politics. The big hair was kind of kooky, but I think some of the Afro styles of the mid-seventies was a little kookier. Anything with John Belushi was in was god before he past away in '83, they had the occasional repeats, and lets not forget John Candy-he was great too!

Oh man... I LOVED Duran Duran, The Smiths and U2, as far as music went. Slouch socks rocked, as did the pleather pants, the lace skirts and the black rubber bracelets.
Let's see... movies! The Breakfast Club, 16 Candles, Pretty in Pink, St. Elmos Fire.

I liked Queen and Madonna. I loved big puffy hair and scrunchies.
I wanted leg warmers but never got any because I thought you
had to be a dancer. I also liked my skirts and dresses puffy.
