I know how you feel. I gave up on these "shows" when I
realized they were all staged fakes.
If you've ever been to a college wrestling match, or even
an Olympics one, you'll know why. They're boring!!
The 70's had some pretty good colorfull guy's like
"The Crusher", "Mad Dog". There was a guy from Iowa
that possesd the "Claw". When he made that move on
a guy, ( grab his opponent by the forehead and apply
tremendous pressure to his temples, blood would
start to oozze from his forehead). He went by some
German monicker, Von something, I don't remember.
Anyways, in his later life, he did an interview where he
said that he had a PHD. in History from the University
of Iowa. He was a big guy, 6'5". He realized he could make
more money doing all these fake shows than he could ever
make teaching history. His favorite phrase was "and that's all
you need to know". He said that in a mean, graverly voice.
Know that this is all show. It exists because people that go
to this events, want to be intertained. They don't care if it's
real or what!! They want their money's worth of intertainment!!

It's all very carefully planned choreography, nothing else.

Here's something else to think about: Huge, muscular, sweaty, scantily clad men; in a public forum, hugging, groping and grabbing at each other, rolling around on a padded floor grunting and moaning......Doesn't this sound disturbingly gay?
