you see ric flair going against big show. then undertaker. then kane. then who's next? can't they get other stars from ecw to fight eah other?

Batista's next.
ECW could never be what it was (sadly) so this version is a watered down style. I mean, would the Sci-Fi channel really be able to cope with the likes of Kimona Wanalaya? (And if you don't know who that is, then how can you comment on the new ECW??)
The people are there to be fed to Big Show so he makes him and the belt stronger by beating them. When RVD or Sabu beat him it's going to be that they did what 16 time champion Ric Flair, The legend the Undertaker, the dominant Kane and the Beast Batisita (all former heavyweight champions and main eventers) couldn't. Wow!
It's rubbish, but it gives the belt and champ some credibility and gets people who wouldn't watch ECW to see it.
I think it's going to get better, you can start to see the angles and feuds getting set up, and CM Punk is going to rule the company from when he debuts on Tuesday (I reckon Stevie Richards will tap to the Anaconda Vice).
Keep faith in Paul E my brothers - the Kool-aid hasn't dried up yet and he's still an evil genius!

I agree with you. Vince keeps bringing over his stars from Raw and SD because he doesn't think the regular stars of ECW will attract anyone and he just doesn't trust them in carrying ECW. I find it really dumb though. He also changed the rules too. Instead of every match being a no rules contest now a regular ECW match is a regular match where you can not use weapons. That's why during the Kane and Big Show match they had to say it was an ECW hardcore match because they don't allow hardcore anymore.

To answer the first question, Batista is next!!
Also, ECW is part of WWE. The Chairman of ECW is Mr. McMahon and the same with WWE. I think ECW sucks but not because it is not extreme. I think it is because of the wreslters who are in it. You don't realy know anyone from ECW and you migt know everyone from WWE. That was the main reason Kurt Angle, RVD and Bigshow are in ECW

ECW and WWE are both owned by Vince...well so is wcw and tna/nwo but that is still hush hush as far as i know. They are basicaly doing the same thing they did with Raw and Smackdown and shuffling the rosters between the 4 living companies (remeber wcw is defunct) then they will do a final roster change and all the shows will have their superstars

I will agree with you. This is nothing like the old ECW. Back in the day, Balls Mahahny (I know i didn't spell his name right) would never get DQ'd for using a chair. In fact, there was no dq to my recalection. WWE is holding back on ECW.

Uh because ecw is now part of wwe and vince is letting raw and smackdown superstars come over to ecw.

Because ECW sucks, they do it because they dont have enought superstars and to boost the ratings and to try making the big show look good. The Big Show barely beat rob van dam or kane. Now Batista will come and face the big show for the belt but mr.kennedy will interfere. But then Sabu will come out and beat up big show or something and then they will either have a tag team match(kennedy and show vs batista and sabu) or a title match(sabu vs Show)

ECW's roster is thin and uninteresting, for the most part.
More importantly, it draws viewers to ECW. Fans of Cena and Edge, for example, would watch the ECW shows they were on.

Boost ratings. As a fervent WCW fan, I was hoping to see WCW relaunched... But after seeing the "New, Improved ECW", I'm not so sure if I want Vince's hands on what Eric Bischoff made so great!

You are absolutely right the ecw needs help and they have sucky stars to compete for the ecw title so of course wwe has to help them.
