all sharks are fish but not all fish are sharks, kinda like the square/rectangle thing. oh seriously, yes sharks are fish, they have scales and gills and are cold blooded

Yes, sharks are fish. They're just not *bony* fish. Lampreys are also fish but not the same kind as either sharks or bony fish. Consult a text such as 'Romers Vertebrate Body' for more information.
