America is a big fat bully and speaking of fat America is the number one over weight country. America ows 8 trillion dollers
in dept and 1 trillion for China alone and 200 billion for
India. How can the Americans blame China for hating them.
America tells every country to quit their weapons of mass
destruction programs while America is the only country that used it. And trust me that will change if the U.S pisses everyone
of for to long. In the war with Japan Japan killed 400,000
Americans but most of them and if not all of them were
soldeirs and when they attacked Pearl Harbor most of the
people killed were soldeirs so Japan was a nobel fighter
which only killed those who are a threat. But America is
a cruel counry and they bombed innocent civillians in
Hiroshima. ( I am not finished). America took credit for
being the hero of WW2. But Russia is the one that bombed Japans nuclier facilities preventing them from using it on the U.S
for revenge. Russia was the one that finally infiltrated Germany
killing the Nazi generals and causing the surrender of
the Nazi party. And America says they were there!! The U.S
took credit for the moon landing and actually faked it but in the 70,s Russia actually did it but no one cared about their
accomplishments because everyone thought the U.S did it
first. The U.S will not admit to the world that JFK died
by the hands of the Soviet Union but the U.S will not
admit it. The U.S takes money from other countries and
never pays them back ( that is the terrible secret). But
when the country is in need the U.S gives them aid so they
will have a good name. For example when the tsunami of 2004
occured the U.S was giving aid to survivors and everyone really liked the U.S for that. But when they asked India if they need aid
India simply said no thanks. The U.S got angry because
they could not show the world the image of them helping the worlds 4th largest economy and because of this when people talk
about the tsunami on the Discovery channel they leave out India
since they did not want U.S aid. The kids in the U.S are brats who go on dates and make out with each other etc and that
disturbs people. And there you have it. Why people hate the U.S. This is why everyone wants this country in the dudt. This is why
rising powers like India are getting their help from Russia since Russia was the only country that aided them after their
Independence and brought them to the status of " rising power"
and only now does the U.S want to be freinds with India.
When Hurricane Katrina happened the U.S government
did nothing while Japan and India and other allys gave aid.
After Sept 11 ever country unbeleivably even China and Russia
offered the U.S help to fight terrorism but the U.S really
dissapointed them when America went to Iraq. That was
Americas only chance to make friends with rivals but
the U.S ridiculously destroyed the oppurtunity. Now
the Chinese and Indians are becoming alleys and being
"rising superpowers" this alliance will cause the down fall of
the worlds most powerfull nation America. America tells the
world that they are a nation of peace and freedom but
NOT SO FAST. What about African American slavery and
what about the mass Native American slaughter that
this nation was born from. America still killed innocent
people hundreds of thousands of them to become
the prosperous Nation they are today. Reading all this from the typing of a 13 year old honors student may be horrible but
this is fact.

They probably hate our administration and the fact that, for a while anyways, we stood unquestioningly behind our presidents decisions. In the case of Europeans, they don't like the fact that we dismiss the United Nations, take a "go it alone" approach to foreign policy, and that we try to explain events in the words in terms of "good" and "evil".They also stereotype us as grossly materialistic. This is just what I've gathered when reading about and speaking to non-Americans. Next time you talk to a foreigner why don't you ask them? Or have you?

Our international politics are what they hate.
We invaded Iraq, and all of our justifications for doing so have been disproved or marginalized. Along the way we insulted a lot of people from a lot of countries, not to mention a large portion of americans and scientists in america as well.
Right now with this situation with Israel, we support Israel's bombing campaign with no regard to civilians in the areas they are bombing. The rest of the world disagrees with our actions on this.
I could go on and on. Essentially we keep on doing things that they very heavily disagree with. It is bad for making friends.

I can tell you as an American who lived in England for some time, this is the deal:
1) Europeans see Americans as rude or blunt -- we see ourselves as direct.
2) Europeans see Americans as opinionated, often bigoted -- We see ourselves as having some god-given right to have an opinion. But opinions get in the way of peaceful relations sometimes.
3) Europeans see Americans as militaristic, almost fascist. That's because it's been a LONG time since anyone over here solved a problem in foreign policy by talking. We like to see ourselves as "kicking a-- and taking names", but it's a naive view of things and not very appealing to live with. For instance, I have relatives who used to "tell me what they think I need to hear"... and I wish they'd keep their opinions to themselves.
4) Europeans see Americans as simple-minded. That's because we seldom distinguish between shades of gray. We see everyone as "for us or against us", good or evil, like in the movies. And that is indeed a simple view of the world.
5) Europeans see Americans as moral hypocrites. We talk about god all the time, and what god would want, and about the right way to live and democracy and mother and apple pie... but other countries see us supporting regimes that torture, rape and murder their own people, or see our military doing the same thing. it doesn't matter how GOOD you are, if you are not living up to your own standards.
I hope that helps. By the way, I'm American, too. You'll never get people to understand and respect you by demanding it. You have to earn it. It took our neighbors 3 years to appreciate what nice folks we "Yanks" were, and it didn't come from trying to teach them baseball, or telling them out to run their country, or asking them what church they go to.
Peace!

many Americans have an arrogant attitude - thinking they are better than every one else or they think their country is better than any other country
They are often uneducated about the rest of the world and seldom travel to places vastly different (ok suppose they travel to Cancun- I wonder if they think they are in Mexico or think they are in USA.. because really there is nothing really mexican about Cancun - so a place like Cancun doesnt count because its similar to USA)
Americans consume far and pollute far more per capita than other nations so it is apparent to other countries that the entire planet is being destroyed solely by the American public... they are greedy - driven by desire for money - many have stuff but its not legitamate since they bought on credit ... so really they are FAKE
I could go on and on and on and on....

First of all, talking as latin american, we hate when US people call themselves AMERICANS because the Continent is not from US.
We dislike US people because sorry some of you show certain superiority air.
My opinion is I dislike US people because you believe everything and idealize your institutions. I have listened some people in Europe accuse you guys of being pretty loud.
And other people, other countries dislike US because US government get in other countries' bussiness and not precisely for being generous.

Let me see:
-Biggest exporter of weapons
-Used WMDs in japan, Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam
-Orchestrated coups to overthrow democratic governments in Iran, Chile, Haiti etc.
-Defies international law like the Geneva convention
-trains torturers through CIA in Malaysia, Indonesia, old Iran, El Salvador etc.
-should I go on??
OK;
-Works for Israel against the truth and fairness
-denies its own people basic services but has money to buy billions of dollars of weapons
-controls the price of oil through the commodities market but keeps blaming Arabs
-Arms terrorists like Al Qaeda and then uses them to invade countries (where they dont even exist)..
In short, America is a cancer to the world

I feel ya sister! I have been having the same experiences. So we are different and do things differently. Better to be different and cause curiosity than to be normal and boring. I think they are just jealous of our totally awesome freedom.
