I doubt that person has really reached menopause – that is quite unlikely at such a young age. Instead, she may have developed “amenorrhea,” a lapse in her menstrual cycle that can occur for any number of reasons. If this girl is overweight, this factor alone could explain her problem. Being too heavy (or too thin) can disrupt the menstrual cycle. In these cases, moving toward normal weight should get things back on track. Here are some other possibilities:
a thyroid problem
stopping birth control pills
a failure to ovulate
stress
premature overian failure
Her best bet is to get an evaluation from an endocrinologist or gynecologist experienced in treating menstrual disorders. With luck, her condition can be easily treated, and her menstrual cycle will resume. :)

Not normally, you could have something messing up your hormore I guess. You need to go to the doctor and get professional help.

Never heard of such a thing. I suppose if she got a hysterectomy she would definitely be thrown into it instantly, but other than that, never heard of it.

No that's way too young, if she is it means she has other problems because she should still be getting a period.
