No, it's owned by a Christian family. AND it's not only in the South.

I have heard that as well. I am glad to know that Mr. Cathy is a Christian. I love the Chic-Fil-A stores. Unfortunately, the area I live in Northeast Texas does not have a store. Closest one is 65 miles away. I still get my chicken sandwich and waffle fries fix when I travel.

My family used to live in the Atlanta area and my son even went to high school with one of the daughters of one of the executives of that corporation.

No it is owned by Truett Cathy a Christian man that came up with the idea of using 100% chicken in a sandwich instead of the common beef.

Truett Cathy founded Chik-fil-A in 1946. There is no indication that she or any in her Board of Trustees are Mormon. Below is a link to their website.

No. It was originally owned by a church loving man who believed stores should close on the Sabbath. Besides, Chick-fil-a is only in the south. Mormons mostly live in Utah.

Wow! Good Question! I don't think so, but I'll be looking into this.

I know that they're closed Sundays because of (I thought) Christian reasons.
