personally I love them, ad hoobastank and AFI to this list.
also add Panic at The Disco.
all these bands write awesome and in the case of hoobastank, simple plan and AFI there songs have huge meaning to me and my life-esspecially at the moment with things that are happening in my life.
so do you like this type of music or not and if so list some of your fave artists.

Green Day is the best. Sorry but Ms murder is the dumbest song i've ever heard. The lyrics are unintentionally funny. That Hoobastank song from last lear was played to death. Simple Plan has worn out their welcome. Panic is kinda boring.
Some punk of today is okay, but the new band Wolfmother is the best new band. They pay homage to the classic heavy metal creators like Deep Purple and Led Zeppelin. I got their album and it is awesome. Just a suggestion.

Ooh... a million of those "p.c.. basically a million" -form question:) complicated to declare... will could circulate with green Day & The Black Eyed Peas. no longer lots of an user-friendly Plan enthusiast, however. Why? green Day has been around for a on a similar time as has some large tunes yet has mellowed somewhat, probable they're ageing lol BEP for their unique mix of music & the songs are catchy & large to get your groove on.

afi rocks! i kinda grew out of the other bands because i found a greater power-metal! take it in and pass it on. keep music alive.

these new punk bands make punk music b/c they can't be half as good as the older groups so the make music about them hating everyone and **** and its dumb all new music sucks balls but i would listen to it all if we could remove the existence of RAP music it isnt even music and it sucks ass

that music sucks!!! it is just what everybody else is listening too. Personally, I like to take it to the extreme: Cannibal Corpse, Death, Slayer, Lamb of God, Behemoth, Decapitated, Metallica, Arch Enemy, and a bunch of other bands that are even more unknown and too many to name here....+SLAYER+!!!!

Some of their songs are okay.
