what is ok to wear brown sandals with? or even brown shoes? i really don't know and i don't want to look weird next week at work. and what about brown shoes and black shirts? i would really appreciate it if you could help me out with this.....

Brown and Black do not mix... Brown shoes go best with earthy tones, sage green, dark red, or even navy blue. Also if you were planning on wearing jewlery I would wear Gold. Black will go with any color!, except brown! hehe...Accessories for Black would be anything that is shiney and silver.
For example, A colorful top, black pants, maybe even a belt (not a brown one though!) a matching bag, black shoes, and silver
Brown shoes, jeans or tan pants, a dark red or burgandy top, a brown belt and gold earrings, maybe even a bag(dont carry a black bag though)

You can wear brown shoes/sandals with beige, orange, white, jeans, certain shades of pink, green. Most anything although I would be wary of wearing brown shoes with black pants or skirts.
A pair of brown shoes, a black shirt and brown or beige pants would be good. Or jeans and brown shoes and pretty much any color shirt would be good.
A good rule with brown shoes is to not wear anything on your lower half that is darker than the shoes. And no grey! Brown shoes and grey pants/skirts just does not work!

black shoes are easier to match stuff with but if you don't them thatz okay. if they're brown flats then wear a nice brown skirt and white tanktop maybe? if they're brown shoes then wear nice dress pants and a dressy black/white shirt. i hope that helps

I've always hated the combination between black and brown..dunno why, but it always seemed weird to me...And of course you could wear them with a nice pair of khaki capris or jeans and a beige or brown baby-doll...

you don't have to wear all brown if you don't like looking like a trunk of a tree..maybe you could wear a lighter shade of brown as an upper shirt/blouse/tanktop then..for a pants--try a white slacks instead..you could also wear a white colored blazer...that'll look nice..

Hey a great combo is pink and brown. Try it. Pink top, brown or tan bottom, the brown footwear.Really cool.
