Toronto is indeed one of Canada's best cities, Dark Angel 333, but before you declare it the best city on Earth, you should travel the world. I won't bore you or other readers with a list of great cities I have visited because of my job, but there are many, many exciting cities and places on Earth. Enjoy Toronto, I did, and if you get a chance, visit Windsor - it has some really nice entertainment for men!

I live an hour away from Toronto (Brampton), but I worked in Toronto for many years and honestly I'm sick of it...LOL..maybe because I've been here too long and I've also been to Europe and especially Italy I love it there and hoping to move there soon...no comparison to Europe!! We practically have no hot weather, we get 6 months of winter 4 months between spring and fall and 2 months of humidity that you can't even enjoy the summer!
Sela ...the houses are old?? Have you ever been outside of Toronto?? You go half hour outside and you find mansions ...beautiful new homes....That is one thing that I love about Toronto is the beautiful homes!

Yes! I love it! The people there are so nice: it's so easy for me to find strangers who are willing to bet spare change over how many M&Ms I can fit up my nose! Then when I throw my newly earned spare change at people for a laugh, most only get puzzled, pick up the change, and keep walking. I've only had a few people actually try to chase me down! ...but luckily, I run very quickly. This is a phenomenon unique to Toronto: I can make more bets in Toronto than I could in Las Vegas.
I'm not Canadian (I immigrated from the Russian Federation), but my landlord is. In fact, he grew up in Toronto! He is the perfect example of how nice those people in Toronto are: he always gives me paper towels as a present whenever he sees me in the hallway or such because he knows how often my Jell-O snack packs explode when I put them in the microwave. It's also very smart of him: he's helping keep his rented out apartment clean. Also, my landlord always rescues me whenever my toes get knotted up in the deep carpet he has in the living room. It's very thick, and I always get caught in it! But, luckily, the man from Toronto saves my life every time!
I don't go to Toronto often; in fact, I typically only go for the airport so that I can leave Canada, but the people at the airport in Toronto are very nice! They usually put up with the ice cream cones I packed in my checked luggage very nicely...I am sure that they are very tempted to take them, but they are just too honest. Sometimes I almost wish they would take them because by the time I reach my destination after a long flight, the ice cream has melted all over my clothes, books, etc. Darn those honest Toronto airport people! Ha ha...
I agree--Toronto's wonderful!

My sister lives in TO, I have been there several times. I am from a small town in BC and find it exciting also. however, i also think that it is a great place to visit but I couldnt live there. I get to see deer. and swamp donkeys (moose) here and I love the clean, pristine beauty of Northern BC
