This is where I am torn. I would like to think people can change so I would say yes they have every right to live where they would like as long as they register in their neighborhood as a sex offender. I know that it is a horrible request to label someone but at the same time I think it's best for the rest of us to be aware and safe. See like I said. Torn.

First, let me get this out of the way...it's "DOESN'T anybody care".
Second, you must be joking right? Sex offenders have NO RIGHT to live anywhere near a school, day care or anywhere there are children. I believe that is LAW in most states.
Third, it is a proven fact that many offenders go on to commit crimes again. They haven't "done their time". Why? Because, the poor victims they've molested, raped, and sodomized will be doing time the rest of their lives reliving the horrible crime that was done to them.
And finally, if I were Queen of the world, sex offenders would go back to God, as the Bible instructs. There, He will judge accordingly.

I think it would depened on what type of sex offender it was. I would like to know that I was living by one. I think that after they have done their time they have a right to live. But if they were convicted of molesting children wouldn't being by a school be a temptation to them? It would be best for all involved that they didn't live close to where there are alot of children on a daily basis.
