What order do you rack the balls when playing pool?

I can NEVER get it right

you rack the balls in the triangle solid on the top some like the number 1 but I use my favorite ball which is the 4 then you continue down the outter side going solid stripe and so on the top ball should be a solid then work your way around the triangle. you will know that it is right when the second row from the bottom has an extra stripe I believe

Actually, I do put the 8 ball in the middle and I put the 1 ball at the bottom left and then go right. I then go up one level from the right and put them from that order like a zig zag with the numbers.

I don't rack the balls in any particular order, but I go stripe, solid, stripe, solid and so on with the 8-ball in the middle.

Depends on the game. 8 ball? The one goes up front by itself and the 8 ngoes in the middle, every other ball is a strip or solid.
