They will have done very well over the past 3 years, and if it IS true that their contract has been ended, how do we know whether or not the new contractors are just Halliburton clones? Same people, different name.

To you sceptics out there - study carefully the details provided on the pages of http://www.serendipity.li and tell me that where there is smoke, there's no fire.

The events of recent history, from Waco onwards, are suspect to say the least. When will Americans wake up and impeach Bush?

I'm glad to see some sensible responses from people who are sick and tired of seeing the usual left-wing tripe from people who are just using Halliburton as a way to slander Dick Cheney. Halliburton makes a pretty good profit right now because it provides essential services to the oil industry worldwide, and we could hardly get by without them. If oil prices drop back to $40 a barrel next year, as predicted by J.P. Morgan analysts, Halliburton as well as the oil producers will make far less money. Meanwhile, their KBR Division also provides other essential services in Iraq on a no-bid basis because they are one of the few available firms that can do the work. Others like Fluor Corp are there too on no-bid contracts, but nobody complains because Fluor provides no excuse to slander the present administration.

I am pretty sure Halliburton is already out of Iraq, and there are going to be a lot of people that tell you how wrong you are asking this question.

Halliburton has enough money. Maybe if they would stop blowing each other up over there.

halliburton is a publicly traded company. you have had an opportunity to profit as well. halliburton may make profits, but they are transferred directly to the shareholders, i.e. taxpayers. more money in the economy = good.

why dont you buy halliburton stock so you can reap the benefits too. you all-knowing liberals somehow failed to figure that one out. you could have become rich if you had turned from whiny idiot to savvy investor.

put your money where your mouth is. if you are so confident that they are plundering the country and profiteering, then take advantage of it dumba$$. if you dont, somebody else will.
