Well, I have one and not much w/o a master's which I am now working on. I wanted to work w/ troubled kids so that's what I have done for the past 13 years. Rewarding work but very tough work and you don't get much of a personal life. I am not sure what else you could do w/ it, but I am sure there is more. You will just never make much money!

A sociology background is excellent for a wide variety of fields. You may need to grunt it out to get basic professional experience at a lower than hoped for pay (if you don't go on beyond bachelors)...but your research mind/studies and broad views on people and how they relate will serve you well.

Most employers just want a warmbody with a degree. If you want to persue your chosen field, plan on a doctorate before you can make any real money and/or not burnout trying to help people that can't break their own patterns of behavior.

Anything in a social or helping field. I have one and I am currently a caseworker for Child Protective Services. I've also done mental health work, developmentally disabled services, domestic violence advocacy and shoe sales :)
