I’ve always favored Linus for his wise, introspective nature. He is also very spiritual and I admire his faith. I would love to sit out in the pumpkin patch with him waiting for the great pumpkin, who is probably way cooler than Santa. I’m pretty sure Linus was Taoist at heart.

since all I can remember of the Peanuts is the Christmas special, I'll have to say snoopy. When he dances silly and licks on Lucy... Oh I remember the Great Pumpkin too. I liked Linus in that one.

I like Linus the best. He has a blue blanket that looks just like mine. I love his quote from the Bible in the Christmas special. He taught the true meaning of Christmas without being preachy.

hmmmm...its unfair for me to choose one for I love each character for different reasons. I can relate to all of them and appreciate all they contribute. Being Mr. Sky; however, I do have a favorite line of Linus (since you've coined him as your favorite I feel it appropriate to quote him):
Sally to Linus *staring up at the sky* " how high are the clouds?"
Linus *glasses on...staring at the sky* "Oh, they're at different heights...some of them are 'far-away' and some of them are 'right-up-there high'. "
Charlie Brown to Linus *just entering into the conversation*
" What sort of explanation is that?"
Linus to Charlie Brown "Sometimes it's best to keep these things in the language of the layman."

Linus is my favorite! He's awesome! And he wants to become a doctor. That's so cute. But Shcroeder comes in a close second.
