what would happen. Lets say i sucessfully get the ferret into california, to my home, set up in its cage and for some reason a cop comes over and sees it, what could he do? Is there any consequences once there herer or only trafficing them?

Well, unless the cop is REALLY REALLY bored, no. Nothing will happen. However, if animal control ever finds out, they will behead the ferret. And fine you.

Your ferret can be confiscated, killed, and you will be fined.

Also, the animal can escape (yes, even if you're ever so careful) and will thrive in California, destroying native species (ferrets eat birds eggs, among other things).

Find a new home for it in Arizona, don't bring it to CA!

Well, since having a ferret is illegal in California, if you got caught it would make sense that you couldn't argue a way out of a transportation charge as well, or do you think nobody would ask you where you got it?

Im sorry :( yet Ferrets are unlawful in California :( yeah i be attentive to they're soo wonderful yet you may no longer have them there. And to cajole your mom to get you a ferret merely shop on getting good grades at college, do chores, help your mom, and be very advantageous! i'm hoping you get your cuddly ferret good success! :)

I didn't know it was illegal to have a ferret in CA.
