We have eyes to see into the soul of the one who we are loving. Love is blind because when you can't c it you know that it is there and love is truly unexplainable (blind) if that what it is or we want to see the best in the ones we love so the blindness over takes the wrongs that are going on

The saying is not literal.
Love is blind because some people see no fault in the one that he/she loves.

When you love you "see" with the eyes of your heart, so TRUE Love is not blind, it's actually the opposite, eyes wide open and overlooks minor faults, annoyances, and idiosyncrasies, looking past all of that, to see you and love you as you really are.
You love that person "warts and all" or despite their faults. If you did not see or refused to see the faults, you could not really be deeply in love with them.
