You must be pretty tired of the smart alec answers by now. You know, many professional stage magicians have offered large cash prizes to anybody who could perform a genuine supernatural miracle in front of witnesses under laboratory conditions after first being searched to prevent fraud.

You'd think that one of those psionics or seers or wiccans [oslt] would have stepped up to claim the cash for their organization, or to contribute it to their favorite charity for legitimate needs, but nobody ever does. The professional stage magicians have made these challenges, because they know that most of the persons doing this are themselves trained in stage magic. (Some of the others may be under the delusion that they have supernatural powers, but cannot substantiate it.)

Scientist do not suspect fraud when testing person who claim to have unusual mental abilities, because they are doing research. The participants, however, are looking for a little notoriety.

There is nothing wrong with entertaining people using sleight of hand or special effects. And most people who make their living doing such things are decent persons. But there are some who are dishonest and selfish.

When some persons use stage magic or special effects to persuade the grief stricken that their deceased loved ones are contacting them with instructions as to the dispositions of properties or investment advice; that is wrong.

When some persons use stage magic to convince people suffering from disease that they have been cured and will remain cured only as long as they do not return to their former doctor or take the former prescriptions, that is wrong.

When some persons pretend to be able to see the future and give useless advice to gullible innocents, depriving them of their money by filling them with anxiety, this is wrong.

I'd like to recommend a good book on the topic to you: Mind Games: Exposing Todays Psychics, Frauds and False Spiritual Phenomena, by Andre Kole. He is a professional magician, whose trade has been hurt by those who use the same techniques but claim to be doing supernatural miracles.

You will find it a very interesting read. Good luck!

Sorry, I'm not psychic but I am developing my skills in psychokinesis (moving objects with the mind) I was trying to type that way but my aim isn't that specific. I can be dangerous. As long as I can see an object clearly and focus on it, I can get it to move, so just don't let me see you.

(You idiot! How could I not be physical? I can communicate, can I not?)

I'm not psychic, but there have been numeroud occasions where I would guess something was about to happen and it did.

For example; on time in NY I was walking towards nbc studios and I said to my sister "watch Chris Kattan walk out right about now" (she and I watched SNL and he was leaving the show in a few weeks, and we liked him) and literally 5 seconds later he walked out of the building and walked past us. There was no way of my seeing him subconiously or anything like that.

Things like this happen to me all the time, but I don't consider myself psychic.

I am not truly psychic as people normally define it. I believe as one becomes in tune with their own surroundings and life "the common sense" of people around you may make a person able to reach out and connect with anothers psyche, especially if it is someone you know already.

Do you mean psychic. It depends on your definition but the oracle is psychic. I can consult her for you. She says this is what she sees: Six of Fire: Victory, great news, expectation crowned with success.

you are young... probably 17 to 19; grew up in a home where french was spoken; spent your childhood in a fairly tropical or wet region, probably along the gulf coast somewhere; you like shopping, especially for clothes and makeup, but never seem to have the money to indulge your choice of style; you like people and are generally well liked, but your circle of good friends is rather small; you have a strong sense of fairness as well as generous compassion and your hair has red highlights
