Hey! The Pop Artists were abundent as posters were still a thing.
Andy Wharhol is always considered #1 (Campbell's soup can and Marilyn Monroe) On canvas, in oil
The painting of the Tomato Soup Can offered ANdy up with the noteriety he wanted. The "bad boy". Who help produce The Velvet Underground Rock Group, with lead singer/friend LOU REED.
Let's see, um oh yeah, Peter Max He did soft almost babyish cartoon type stuff. Bold unadorned color. Blue Yellow and white stars outlined in different colors. (GO to The Beatles Song Books)
He does a few pictures in there.LEE CONCLIN, not pop but very IN. Did the first Santana album cover. (Look closely at the Lion, closer, closer.)
Oh, Andy Wharhol also did the Velvet Undergrounds first album cover, it is THE EPITOME OF POP!!!!! It is a drawing of a banana, with the invitation 'peel me' on it, and the velvet underground scrolled in long hand (& you could peel the banana if you bought the album!) It was a drawing of a banana without the peel.
