I don't know. What I do know, is that when I was a kid (back in the early 90s) driving through Rumford sucked because the town stunk, earning it the nickname SKUNKFORD RUMFORD. I don't know if the factories are still running or as stinky now, but I wouldn't live there if it does still smell.
