Joe Morgan, It was just a little bloop single over The SS head not sure who scored the run but it was in top of 9th inning in Boston,Reds had trailed 3 to 2 until johnny bench broke up a double play That tied it up 3 to 3 in 6th inning, then Morgan won it in The 9th still greatest world series i ever saw, and that could be cause i am a reds fan, red sox won game one 5 to 0 that was the only game that was not close.

It was Joe Morgan's flare single to center in the top of the ninth inning that drove in Ken Griffey Sr. and put the Reds ahead to stay, 4-3.
The most memorable hit of the series, however, was Carlton Fisk waving his Game 6, 12th inning home run and the call by Dick Stockton - "There it goes! A long drive if it stays fair...HOME RUN!"
