I know what you mean, I get reported for fart questions, yet there are sexual devients, racsits and perverts on here, they deserve to be reported not us. BTW you rock!

I got nailed for asking what someone said wasn't a question. The ironic thing is that it was really a continuation of one I had just asked 10 minutes before- one that got 47 answers.
So they pulled the second one, but not the first, even though they were identical- except for the additional details.
I think some people just seriously need to get a life. The people who report stuff like that are probably the same kids who tattled everything to the teacher back in first grade. Remember them?
"Teacher, Teacher, Billy just stuck his tongue out at you when your back was turned!"
Losers may get older, but they don't grow up.

Because some people take the community guidelines serious---although you meant well, it was not in a form of a question, and it was also promoting chatting, see below.
See the guidelines:
YOU MAY NOT POST CONTENT (or links to content, including photos):
to exploit, solicit, or harm minors.
that is violent, racist, incendiary, or otherwise objectionable.
that are abusive, threatening, slanderous, or belligerent against any individual or groups of individuals for any reason.
that violates federal, state or local law.
that contains profane, obscene, vulgar or sexually explicit language.
that glorifies self-harm, suicide, anorexia, bulimia, or any other practice that is clearly unhealthy or harmful.
for commercial or advertising purposes, including classified ads.
to vent your frustrations, rant, make statements, or otherwise violate the question and answer format.
to post personal ads or your own or others' personal information.
that violates the Yahoo! Answers Community Guidelines or the Yahoo! Terms of Service in any manner.
NO CHATTING OR PERSONAL COMMUNICATIONS: You may meet friends or other interesting people on Yahoo! Answers with whom you'd like to engage in personal correspondence. If so, please use the chat option on your profile page, rather than use Yahoo! Answers itself. Questions that are chatty, or attempts to engage others in personal communications, will be removed. Some examples of questions that do not comply with the Yahoo! Answers Community Guidelines are below. These are just a few examples, and we reserve the right to change, remove, or add to the list at any time, without notice:
How are you?
Anyone want to chat?
What's your name?
How old are you?
Do you like my avatar?
What time is it?
Who here likes steak?
How many points do you have?
Who likes Britney Spears?

theres nothing wrong with saying have a good day. that was a stupid reason to report you
but, there are some stupid ppl on this site that talks about sex and will say some really nasty things about what the like in bed and stuff like that.
i always report ppl like that for the simple reason that I for one dont want to see that mess in here....and theres young kids that come to this site for help and information...they dont need to read some of the stupid, and sick questions thats being asked.

People often abuse of the report feature just because they don't like what they see here.
But, maybe it was because it has to be in the form of a question such as "are you having a good day today?".

they either don't like you for some reason or they think they should report everyone because it's not a question or answer,....so stupid, it can be a reason to be reported, but i don't think people should take things so seriously.... it's just a website, no realy danger made, unless someone gave out their personal information and some preditor came and hunted them down... so yeah, repoting people is unnessecery unless it's really serious.

Because they grew up with parents that never taught how bad it is to be snitch. I think the ones who turn people in for everything are the ones that want to be favored by Y/A. They think Yahoo can't do it's job, so they want to do it for them. I turn people in only for really nasty stuff, because of the kids or real bad racial hatred.
