if you mean to answer a question here.....type your answer in the first box like always, then type whatever you are searching for in the third box where it says search the web. the web search will open in a second window. you can search as normal.

when you find the results you want, go to that specific page. highlight the address bar *starts with http:// * at the top and right click it. that should give you a list of options. choose copy.

come back to the yahoo answers window and the box you typed your answer in. right click in side the box and choose the option to paste. your web address should pop up and look like this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yahoo_Answers

clicking that link will take you back to the page you found earlier.

dont forget to preview your answer.

The first thing you do is go to the web site you want to tell others about. then, look up in your browser to where it says...Address and see the white box to the right of it with something like "http://answers.yahoo....." etc. Pick up your mouse and click in that white box. The address should be hightlighted (on mine it turns all blue). Then hold down the Ctrl key with the left pinkie while your index finger punches the "C" (this puts the Internet address into the windows buffer blah blah blah) ok, now, go ahead and proceed to answer the yahoo question, and when it comes time to display the web link, hold down the Ctrl key while your left index finger punches the "V" This puts the link into the answer. see?:

I'm assuming you want an actual live link, and not just the typed-out web address...

I open another window to that site; highlight the web address; and drag it to the "answer" window

-or you can sometimes just click on a link and drag it like this link to "My Q&A":
